Genesem Founder & Chairman of the Board
David Han has been a pioneer and leader in the semiconductor equipment industry for more than 40 years, driving both technological and managerial excellence while spearheading the growth of Genesem.
He began his career at Hanmi Semiconductor in 1986 as Director of Technology, where he laid the foundation for innovation in semiconductor equipment.
In 2000, he founded Genesem and served as CEO, leading the company’s transformation into a global semiconductor equipment enterprise.
Since 2025, he has served as Chairman of Genesem, overseeing the company’s long-term vision and strategy while continuing to advance technological and managerial innovation to strengthen its global competitiveness.

Steve Shin, CEO
Head of Sales & Marketing
Head of Business Development
He began his career at Hyundai Electronics (now SK hynix), where he built a solid foundation in semiconductor manufacturing.
He later advanced his career at ChipPAC Shanghai and Amkor Technology Shanghai, before moving to Amkor Technology headquarters, where he served as Head of Corporate Manufacturing (CVP) and Head of Operations (EVP), leading global operations and driving innovation in semiconductor packaging and testing.
Since 2025, he has served as Chief Executive Officer of Genesem Inc., overseeing business development in sales and marketing and spearheading the company’s global growth strategy.

Samuel Han, CEO
Head of Business
He joined Genesem in 2011 and served as Head of the Advanced Technology Development Group until 2025, where he spearheaded innovations such as the development of Saw Singulation equipment and laid the foundation for next-generation technologies.
Since 2025, he has served as Chief Executive Officer of Genesem Inc., overseeing overall business operations and leading the company’s growth in the global semiconductor equipment industry.

Kevin Cho, CTO
Head of Advanced Research & Development
He began his research career in 1988 as a research associate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at KAIST. From 1990 to 2023, he served as an executive at Hanwha Precision Machinery, where he led the development of core semiconductor equipment technologies.
In 2023, he contributed to the industry as Academic Director of the KMEPS Packaging Equipment Division and subsequently continued his work as an advisor for semiconductor equipment development at Hanwha Precision Machinery.
Since 2025, he has served as Chief Technology Officer of Genesem Inc., overseeing advanced technology development, including hybrid bonder development, and driving the company’s technological competitiveness in the global semiconductor industry.

Young-Min An, CFO
Head of Finance
From 1989 to 2002, he worked in the Finance Department at Hanmi Semiconductor, where he built a solid foundation in corporate operations.
He joined Genesem in 2007 and played a key role in leading the company’s successful listing on the KOSDAQ market in 2015. Since then, he has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Genesem Inc., overseeing organizational management and overall business operations.

Hee-Dong Lee, GM
Head of Production Management
From 1997 to 2001, he built his design expertise at Hanmi Semiconductor. In 2003, he joined Genesem and served as Head of the System Development Technology Group until 2023, where he oversaw the design and production of semiconductor equipment.
He now serves as General Manager of Production Management, leading the establishment of efficient production systems and enhancing the company’s quality competitiveness.
